Who we are
This website is operated by GHM Scaffolding Kent Ltd (Company No. 17313938), of 51 Tweedy Road, Bromley, BR1 3NH. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. You can contact us by phone on 07946 371374 or by email at ghmscaffoldingltd@gmail.com.
What we collect
When you use the contact form on this website, we collect the information you submit: your name, phone number, postcode or project location, project details, whether the enquiry is residential or commercial (if you choose to say), and your email address if you choose to provide one. We do not collect payment information on this website.
How we use your information
We use the information you submit to respond to your enquiry, arrange a site survey, and provide a quote. If you provide an email address, we send you a copy of your enquiry by email. We do not use your information for marketing, and we do not sell or share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Our legal basis for processing this data is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about our services, and, where you provide consent on the form, your consent.
How your enquiry is delivered
Enquiries submitted through the contact form are sent to us by email using Resend, an email delivery service. The full text of your message, including your postcode and project details, is emailed to us only and is not stored centrally. So that we can still contact you if that email fails, a minimal record of your name, email address, phone number and whether the job is residential or commercial is stored in a secure lead system run by our website provider, Silver Spider Media, and is kept for as long as needed to respond to and manage your enquiry, then deleted or anonymised. If neither step works, the form tells you so and asks you to ring us instead, so please do ring rather than assume your enquiry has reached us. Diagnostic notes written to our hosting provider's server logs contain no personal data.
Before an enquiry is accepted, the form uses a hidden spam trap and a rate limit on repeated submissions from the same address. When the security check is enabled, it also runs Cloudflare Turnstile, a privacy-focused spam-prevention check. None of these collects any additional personal data about you.
The form asks how you would prefer to be contacted. We use that preference to decide whether to ring you or reply by email, and for nothing else.
How long we keep your information
We keep enquiry information for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your enquiry and complete any related work, and then delete it unless we are required to keep it for a longer period by law.
Your rights
You have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to ask us to correct it, and to ask us to delete it. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details above. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you are unhappy with how we handle your data.
Cookies
This website uses a small number of cookies. See our Cookie Policy for details.
